How do they make Maltesers? No flat bit while the chocolate dries... genius?
Answers:
This is done by atomising the chocolate and 'spraying' it onto the honeycomb as the balls wing and roll their way through a vortex (tornado type thing). Each little droplet of chocolate dries almost immediately so you get the even coating.
modern technology, its fantastic eh
They have really really tiny people who are given a hammer and chisel to knock the holes into them.
intresting question, i wish i had the answer for you!
Good question, but sorry cant think of an answer, thats a tricky one!!
They are always telling us Maltesers are the 'lighter' chocolate. Maybe they go through a coating of chocolate, then they are blown up in the air using an air machine to make them float around until they are dry. lol.
It's so nice to see someone who's not afraid to ask the really important questions .Questions like how do they get the hole in the Polo mint...what is the point of quilted toilet paper, when it refuses to flush...why do we vote in an election when we know that everybody's lying through their back teeth...why do we go to the chippy after a keep-fit class...what is the point of Paris Hilton...and so on...more power to your elbow!
Hmmmmmm good question.
I'm thinking that perhaps they use a mould ?!?!?!
