Need a simple recipe for a pound of bacon.?!

Question:

Need a simple recipe for a pound of bacon.?

I have a pack of bacon that has to be cooked before it spoils. I was wanting something different. Not blt's or just plain bacon. Please help. Thank you.

Answers:
1) You can always just cook it, let it cool and then freeze - that way you only need to reheat when needed.

2) Cook it, crumble it and sprinkle on top of ANY salad - potato, pasta, greeens, etc.

3) Add cooked, crumbled to egg salad for sandwiches.

4) Any basic Strogonoff will require bacon.

5) BLT sandwiches.

6) Baked Beans.

Go to allrecipes.com / kraftfoods.com / etc and type in "Bacon" -- you will be surprised how many recipes will require bacon - many with basic ingredients that you probably have in the house already.

Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps

1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
1 (1-pound) package sliced bacon
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden pick. Stir together brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture. Coat a rack and broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken wrap on rack in broiler pan. Bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Paula Deen has a recipe on Smithfield website for a bacon, spinach, cheese pie (calls for a pound of bacon crumbled).

Here is a great recipe, buy jumbo shrimp and wrap it in bacon nothing else needed, just a pan over medium heat; the bacon will release natural oils so no oil required.it is very tasty and satisfying it even works well, with ca bobs. Here is another, if you make beans (especially black or pinto) and the bacon to the beans, adds wonderful flavor. Here is another, add it to rice :}
you can also make a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich hope it helps

Eat it on a baked potato
or
make breakfast burritos - cook the bacon and crumble it - scramble some eggs, add cheese and there you go. Wrap it all in a tortilla. You can also saute' some onion and bell pepper to go with it.
or
make a salad
boil some mac. noodles, rinse and put miracle whip in it and some ranch dressing mix - add the bacon crumbled and some shredded cheese and you have a nice salad. It is better cold.

Wrap a fillet minon / beef tenderloin in the bacon and grill it.
