well there are all kinds of recipes with ground beef, it just depends on what you want to eat but here are a couple:

Beef Stroganoff
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup beef broth
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles
DIRECTIONS
Break up ground meat into a large skillet, and add onion, mushrooms, garlic powder, and mustard powder. Cook and stir over medium heat until the meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat.
In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and beef broth. Stir into beef mixture, and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not stir too much.
Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until done. Drain. Serve sauce over hot noodles.

Meatloaf

1 cup tomato juice
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine meat, tomato juice, oats, egg, chopped onion, salt and pepper. Mix lightly but thoroughly. Press into 8x4 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour, or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear. Drain. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Taco Pie
INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pound ground beef

1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
8 ounces shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
1 (14.5 ounce) package crushed tortilla chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lay crescent dough flat on the bottom of a square cake pan and bake according to package directions.
Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the taco seasoning and stir together well. When dough is done, remove from oven and place meat mixture on top, then layer with sour cream and cheese, and then top off with the crushed nacho chips.
Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.

*top with your favorite taco toppings, like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, black olives, salsa & guacamole*

My old ground beef standby is shepherd's pie.

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef
I jar of brown or beef gravy
2 cans of whole kernel corn (drained)
1 can of cream-style corn
Mashed potatoes (enough to feed 6 people)

Brown the beef and drain off the fat, simmer for a few minutes in the gravy. Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish, top with all 3 cans of corn, and smooth the potatoes over the top (best to make them a little on the thin side, but not runny) Bake in a 350 deg oven for 30-45 mins. Even better the second day!!

You can make taco's with it,,,,

jes get taco mix.. if you have lettuce,, tomatoes and onions,, with hard of soft taco shells, you're good to go.... Or you can get the big tortilla shells, add rice and beans and you got burrito!!!

My Grandma used to fix Hamburger and Kidney beans for me and my Grandpa we used to eat it with bread and butter

just brown your hamburger and drain the grease the add 1 or 2 cans of kidney beans simmer for 5 min.

Shipwreck - easy, and no pre-browning needed!
In a med. size roaster or casserole dish, layer these:
One sliced onion on the bottom
3-4 potatoes, sliced thinly (I leave peel on)
salt and pepper
smoosh over this about one pound ground beef, spread out pretty evenly out to edges
salt and pepper, garlic powder
on the meat, put about 1/2 c. diced celery OR frozen mixed veg, or any veg.
sprinkle over 1/4 c. dry uncooked white rice
Mix up one can tomato soup with one can water
Pour over casserole evenly - can poke through the meat to let it seep through.
Cover and let bake at 350 for at least 2 hours, for the potatoes to cook well.
Yummers!
Sprinkle on top
