I think its wrong?!

Question:

I think its wrong?

to boil live lobsters.....would'nt it be better to batter them to death first

Answers:
Batter them to death - ha, ha, ha! Am I the only one who thought that was funny, in a tempura sort of way.....?

I think it wrong also. I think you should kill them first.

That's ok if you want lobster pancakes.

No, put them in the freezer until they freeze to death and then boil them. This is the best and most humane way to do it.

i think your whole question is wrong

its better not to eat them

It would be more humane to kill them first, but they wouldn't tatste as good.

The most humane way is to put the in the fridge for about an hour. They will become comatose and they will not feel a thing when put in the water.
An alternative is to stab them in the brain with the point of a knife.

Nah...Train them to churn butter and squeeze lemons first...Then boil and/or batter them to death!!!

umm i believe in animal rights both ways are dangerous an bartering them is death is worst u dufus

If you batter them to death, then you are going to have bits of shell in the flesh. Do you like crispy, crunchy lobster ?

it is not wrong, because when the lobster enters the boiling water, it is engulfed fully, this sends its hole system in to shock, so it does not feel any pain for the short time it is alive in the water. although these days alot of chefs, for a few reasons like to pierce the brain of the lobster with a very sharp knife just seconds before boiling, some think this actally makes the meat more tender, as the musels would not be in spasm at time of death.

I agree with you. Lobsters should be humanely killed before cooking, not boiled to death.
