How to make perfect spaghetti?!
How to make perfect spaghetti?
Mine always comes out sticky or over cooked. Sometimes it tastes great if I eat it right away, but going back for seconds/leftovers aren't exactly great. What can I do to make the pasta deliciously perfect? :) Thanks.

I always go with the angel hair or thin spaghetti. It takes the shortest amount of time to cook, so give it a minute after it is soft and it's done. Make sure you stir it after you put it in the water to avoid clumping. When the noodles are done, rinse it with hot water to remove the extra starch, which will keep it from being sticky. You can also put it back in the pan after rinsing it, and add a tiny amount of olive oil and toss it. That will keep it from sticking too.
Try this:
PERFECT SPAGHETTI WHEN YOU ARE TOO
BUSY TO COOK
Add desired amount of dry spaghetti to 3 quarts boiling water. Stir. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover pan and place on back of stove. When you are ready to serve dinner just heat your sauce. Drain spaghetti and serve. Honest! Very good when everyone eats at a different time. I cook it - go to work and when I come home, it takes 5 minutes to cook sauce, make a salad and have dinner ready.
The best way I know to tell if the spaghetti is done is the pinch test. Boil in water with a touch of oil and then when it starts to turn clear pinch it, if it is easy to pinch in half then it is usually done just right. If it is still a little hard cook a little longer. If the spaghetti is really soft then you have cooked it a little to long. This works for me all the time.
cook the pasta in 1 teaspoon of oil, and in the sauce add ground beef.
