Why did the cake not get done?

Answers:
You can cook cakes in a bread maker, but you need to vary the cooking times. Takes longer in bread maker as there isnt a lot of space around the cake, as in an oven, where the air circulates around the cake to give it an even cooking temperature from all around.
.Try it again, it will be a case of trial and error. Once you get it right, it will be perfect.
Try adding an extra ten minutes, then 5 minutes after that.
Hopefully that helps.
i dont know
I would think that a bread maker is not the proper place to bake a cake. It is made for baking bread which is a completely different product.
Well to start with you should have cooked the cake in the oven where it's suppose to be cooked in. Just follow the directions on th ebox and viola a nice edible cake and not a half cooked one. IN a bread maker machine you ahve to put enough time on it and make sure it's set right or else it will not cook it or it ccould burn it. SO next time just put it in the oven.
dude you cook cake in ovens.
but.... you can cook in a micro wave.
microwave cake.
you will need the biggest thing you can use in the microwave as a mixing bowl, but it must still be able to rotate.
take a cake mix,mix as usual, then put the mixing bowl in the micro wave.
it will get very big, very fast.
don't know what wattage your oven is but i can tell you that it will take between 15 to 20 minuets to cook.
only bake bread in a bread maker.
good luck.
