Question:

What is a good recipie for salsa dip with sour cream?

When I lived on the east coast I had this dip that was out of this world it was wonderful. I know the person used salsa in a jar and either cream cheese or sour cream and they were mixed together Have you ever made a dip recipie like this before and can you tell me how this is done?

Answers:
50/50 salsa and sour cream Keep it super simple.

cream cheese is really good with salsa. you just mix the cream cheese in a little at a time until it tastes the way you want it to.
one of my favorite things to do with this is put a dab of cream cheese on a saltine cracker then top with salsa. very very good.
also if you like guacamole, its the same concept. smash up an avacado, add salsa a little at a time until it looks/ tastes the way you want it. add a squeeze of fresh lime juice to give an extra kick and keep the avacado from turning dark.

I make a wonderful layer dip......Take 1 can re fried beans & spread into bottom of casserole dish, over that spread 1 pkg shredded mexican cheese. In small bowl, mix together 1 lg container of sour cream & 1 pkg taco seasoning. Spread this mixture over cheese layer. Add finely chopped tomato, green onions, salsa and guacamole.......Serve with corn tortilla chips......

1 cup sour cream
2 cup salsa
1 cup rinsed and drained black beans
1 cup cheese
1/2 cup green onions finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
mix thoroughly. Refigerate for 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to blend.
