If you don't have baking powder what else can you use?!

Question:

If you don't have baking powder what else can you use?

Answers:
Baking Powder and Baking Soda are the only Ones I know.
You can use Baking Soda for a substitute.

Baking powder is pretty specific. You can try baking soda for levening, but they have different properties & your recipe might not turn out exactly right.

why not buy self raising flour , but baking soda will do the job ,the only difference between it, and baking powder is that there is no anti caking agent in it try two teaspoons to each cup of plain flour hope this helps you ..
