Seafood Pasta?!

Question:

Seafood Pasta?

I go to this Chinese buffet and the have this cooked seafood pasta, it is absolutely delish! I know they put imitation crab, scallops and shrimp in it along with tricolored noodles. It is a hot dish that has a creamy, cheesy sauce on it. I can taste a couple of different types of cheeses but I'm not exactly sure what kinds they are. Does anyone have any idea how I could go about making this? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Answers:
Seafood Alfredo

Ingredients:
1/4 cupButter
1/4 cupFlour
3-4 cupsMilk
1 bagShredded Italian mix cheese
1 1/2 cupSour cream
2 tspPepper
2 tbsGarlic powder
1/4 lbMedium shrimp, cooked and shelled
1/4 lbImitation crab meat
15Small stalks asparagus
12 ozMedium shell noodles or the like

Prep:
Cut tails from shrimp - disregard tails. Dice shrimp, crab meat, and asparagus into 3/4 inch pieces. Set aside, keeping aspargus separate.

Cook noodles as directed. As noodles first begin to soften, add asparagus to boiling water. Cook and drain well. Set aside.

In large sauce pan, over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour while continually stiring with wisk. Add 3 cups of milk stiring constantly until smooth. Add sour cream and cheese, wisking constantly until completely melted. Add spices. Turn to low heat. Add shrimp, crab, noodles and asparagus. Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.

Serve with bread.

Try this,
Caesar Shrimp and Pasta

8 ounces Ziti, Mostaccioli or other medium pasta shape, uncooked
3 cups broccoli florets
1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons bottled light Caesar salad dressing
12 ounces uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 teaspoon crushed red hot pepper flakes
1/4 cup freshly grated Romano cheese

1. Prepare pasta according to package directions; 3 minutes before pasta is done, add broccoli. While pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of the dressing in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and pepper flakes; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes or until shrimp is opaque.
2. Drain pasta and broccoli; transfer to a serving bowl. Add remaining 1/3 cup dressing and shrimp mixture; toss well. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.

Makes 4 servings.

One of the things we did (from an Italian background) was to prepare your favorite spagetti sauce (canned, jarred or homemade) but add cleaned blue crabs to it at the last part until done. Then, put newspaper everywhere....under and over the table, and dig in. Its so messy, but it is so good. Serve it over your favorite pasta, eat the crabs with your hands, and have lots of fresh pecorino ramano cheese and vino available!!!

4 green onions, chopped
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
2 cloves minced garlic
1 stick butter
2 lbs. raw seafood (shrimp, scallops, etc.)
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. cooked pasta

Saute the first 3 ingredients in half the butter (reserve the rest). Then add the seafood and set aside.
Saute: combine the remaining ingredients with reserved butter. Cook over medium heat until bubbly. Add seafood mixture. Serve over 12 oz. cooked pasta. Serves 6 to 8.
