I ended up doing it as the chocolate didn't look too good and I thought it can't get any worse. The experiment payed off. I add icing sugar and milk to it and it was perfect. For Immortal...The recipe is
cream 1 cup brown sigar with 1/2 lb butter then add 2 cups s.r.flour. Knead slightly and press into a slice tin. Bake at 200oc(390f) for 10-12 minutes. then cool.
to make the caramel put 2 egg yolks in a saucepan with 1 cup condensed milk,2 desert spoons of brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of golden syrup. Stirring slowly bring to the boil and simmer for 5 min (make sure you continue to stir. This is the point I got on to ask my question and it stuck a little to bottom). Cool a little and pour on the base. refridgerate till cool
Then melt chocolate and pour on top of caramel. Keep in the fridge.
it's yum. Toataly unhealthy but it will be shared among many

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
That will TOTALLY mess up your chocolate! Confectioner's sugar has an anti caking agent which will only make your chocolate more difficult to spread and very likely introduce lumps as well.
You may add a bit of vegetable shortening or margarine. When I say a bit, I mean a bit. A few tablespoons at the most, depending on how much chocolate you have.
Do post and tell me what a caramel slice is, I'm dying to know now!
Oh, you can melt it in the microwave and stir the shortening in. Also, make sure you don't use a spoon or bowl that has even a drop of water in it as this will make your chocolate all clotted.

Dear friend add anything to anything and make something, eat and if good continue and teach others. Cooking started like this only. Somebody wanted change and made something and others followed.
I am a man and do cooking experiments and if good continue and give others. One fellow's good item will be another's worst items. We eat lot of chillies , but you will abhor that. That is the taste.
girl just add the c sugar with butter mix well until it sort of becomes butter frosting and just add the chocolate mixture that u already have it will taste great remember and the chocolate mix that u have last.. that is all...
Its not a good idea. It might mess up the texture of the melted chocolate (i.e, thicken it).
Good Luck!
It will just make the chocolate lumpier but you could try putting a cream or something like that into it to make it smoother and creamier. You can also add butter, margering, ect.
yeah you can.
