Cheese Dip..............?!

Question:

Cheese Dip..............?

How do you make really good cheese dip? It is for a slumber party.

Answers:
Blue cheese crumbles kindly lend their distinctive flavor to this simple, smooth mixture. Serve with corn chips. This dip tastes better the longer it chills before serving.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
4 green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons dried parsley
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
garlic salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, green onions, dried parsley, blue cheese and garlic salt. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.

Oh yeah

2 cup grated cheddar
1 can Campbell Cheddar Cheese Soup
1/2 of a large block of Velveta, cut up
1 cup of salsa, your heat level (add more if you like)

Put all in a large sauce pan, heat on medium until the cheese is melt. Serve with nacho chips or cut up vegetables.
It will get thick as it cools, just microwave a bit to reheat.

melt your favorite cheese and add spices [if you want].
or garlic. yum.

1 jar of Old English cheese spread, one pkg cream cheese all mixed and warmed. Cut a bag of the small plain bagels into bitesized triangles for dipping.....

soften cream cheese in the microwave, then out it in the mixer and add, any of these things.....
grated cheddar
paprika
mustard
sour cream
corn relish
cornichons
french onion soup mix
green onions
sweet chillisauce
walnuts
blue cheese and honey

mix through, pour into a serving dish, chill for 4 hours, serve with crudite, chips, crackers or good bread.

1 can diced tomatoes with hot or mild peppers and a small block of velveeta. Microwave a few minutes, stir and repeat until Velvety smooth - Yummy! Seve with tortilla chips of your choice.

For something easy try;
2 cups white processed cheese, shredded
3/4 cup milk
Add milk and cheese to pan melt on low. Stir often to prevent sticking or use a double boiler.
You can add spices (Red Pepper, Chili Powder, Italian Spices whatever), garlic, or even some chopped peppers, can of Rotel Drained (I use stuff that same as Rotel, just cheaper) and/or chopped onions.

This is a warm cheese dip, served in a bread bowl (cob or sourdough is best!)
mix together about a cup each of sour cream, cream cheese and grated cheddar. Stir in bacon bits and spring onion (small pieces). Place mixture into a hollowed out bread loaf and put in the oven to bake on low for about an hour.
Drizzle olive oil and garlic salt over the leftover pieces of bread (from the inside of the loaf) and slowly toast, use these as dippers!
To be served warm, always a hit!!
Have fun.

Someone already said this, but a can of Rotel (diced pepper and tomato) and a block of velveeta. I always add some Pace picante and some italian sausage to this. The best ever!!!

The easiest and the best tasting, by far, is Velveeta Cheese and Rotel (milder flavor) canned tomatoes. (Do not drain the can of Rotel!!! Use it, juice and all. Otherwise it will become too thick) Don't add anything else to it. You can cube the the cheese and pour the can of Rotel over it in a bowl. Pop it in the microwave and it's great! You can also substitute a can of chili without beans instead of the Rotel for a Chili Cheese Dip that tastes just like Chili's restaurant. I think I'll make some tonight...

1 pkg Velveeta
brown 1pkg of jimmy dean sausage (original)
1 can ro-tel (diced tomatoes & green chilies)
combine in crock pot on low and serve w/ chips
