Anybody ever heard of this cookie?!

Question:

Anybody ever heard of this cookie?

Don't know what the name of it is, but it only takes 3 things to make it. It is some type of peanut butter cookie.

I egg
1 cup of Splenda
1 cup of peanut butter

Mix all together and put teaspoon fulls on cookie sheet, flatten just a little and bake. It don't make very many at all. Maybe a dozen or so.

Don't know how long to bake it at or how hot. I have made several batches of these for my parents and they love them. If you have ever heard of them, please tell me how long and how hot to bake them at. I know it don't seem possible that it only takes these 3 things to make these cookies, but that is it. I was first told to bake that at 400 for 45 min. but I know for a fact that is wrong. I have been trying different temps and different times, but haven't got it worked out yet. Please help me out here with this if you could. Thank you.

The reason it was Splenda instead of sugar is because both of my parents are diabetic and can't have the sugar. Now we find out that moms sugar still went up even with the Splenda in it. So we have to try something else instead of Splenda.

Yep, I used to make that one when I was doing low-carb. Its 350 for 10 minutes according to the recipe I have. Also my recipie calls for 1 teaspoon baking soda. (that makes them puff up)

I havent made that cookie before, but I would definately trade out the Splenda with real sugar. Splenda is disgusting..

Paula Dean used to have a recipe like this maybe research her show and see if you can find it there. It was very similar if not this one exactly

A client of mine gave me this recipe. My husband loves them. She said you can use 1C of splenda, brown sugar, or white sugar. I cook them at 375 for about 8 minutes. As oven temperatures can vary, and the type of peanut butter can make a difference too, I would try one to test the time. Sometimes they take longer, usually not shorter! Hope this helps.
