Do you like rice cakes?!
Do you like rice cakes?
what do you put on them ?
I want to add a little something
instead of the usual peanut butter.
Answers:
i don't really like them - it's feels like i'm eating what that packing foam would taste like
i found a new product called corn cakes - similar thing but made with corn, tastes a bit like popcorn - it's really yummy with of course peanut butter, but i also like it with cream cheese and dates and cinnamon and my other favorite is with avocado and a little salsa
give them a go - they are good
They make pretty good kitty litter if you crumble them up well.
You just put on the standard seaweed.
for extras you can put on some sesame seed.
Other than if you want to put a filling in them the possibilities are endless.
although I've never heard of someone using peanut butter.
try honey. it's really good that way.
I love rice cakes and eat them virtually every day. Try savoury toppings like,
1. Grated parmesan cheese and chives.
2. Scallions, celery, crushed garlic, salt & black pepper.
3. Boiled egg slices and chillie flakes.
4. Grated carrot, cabbage, beans, finely chopped snowpeas and butter.
Hope these help you enjoy your rice cakes even more.
Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh the possibilities are endless!
I eat them as a snack, or a dessert depending on my mood!!

The blend of creamy caramel, salty nuts and sweet chocolate hits the spot in these mock cheesecakes. They're a fabulous must-have-something-sweet-now nibble.
Ingredients
1/4 cup fat-free cream cheese, softened
1 Tbsp fat-free caramel topping
2 Quaker Chocolate Crunch Rice Cake(s)
2 tsp chopped pecans, toasted
2 tsp chocolate syrup
Instructions
Stir together cream cheese and caramel topping in a small bowl until smooth.
Spread mixture over Chocolate Crunch Rice Cakes, dividing evenly.
Sprinkle with pecans; drizzle with chocolate syrup. Yields 1 cheesecake per serving.
I've only tried these things with the whole grain ones. For breakfast, try cottage cheese and honey or make an open-faced "Egg Mcmuffin". yum! For lunch, sliced turkey and avocado. Anything you can spread is great ~ like hummus, its good w/a squeeze of lemon on top.
Have you tried the ones that are already flavoured? We've gotten sundried tomato, sour cream & chives, cheddar etc.
YES , ESPECIALLY THE NEW LITTLE INDIVIDUAL PACKS IN DIFFERENT FLAVORS. THE CHOCOLATE AND THE APPLE CINNAMON ARE REALLY GOOD. THEY TAKE YOUR SWEET CRAVINGS AWAY.
too dry for me.but i now want to try the different recipes u got!! sounds yum!
I like to put jelly on the. But mostly I eat the popcorn cakes from Quaker. They are far more flavorful.
