How do you make food smell better?!

Question:

How do you make food smell better?

Answers:
Umm...why does it smell bad???

Outta the fridge for too long? <;-)

Ya burned it while you were cooking it???<;-)

Or did you cook something smelly and you want to mask the smell???

quit smoking, serve it in a room without smoke. use the freshest ingredients. I also hear people who regularly have sex have better senses of smell than those who don't. So do it.

you need to provide more information to us: is it the ingredients you use, or is it freezer burned, have you left it out too long, is it mixed in with other foods?

if you smell it after smelling something that smells really bad (e.g. poop, rotting flesh, cat urine), it smells good by comparison.

cook the food slowly.

spray perfume on it

The best way to make food smell better is to add aeromatic spices and herbs to it. It not only smells better but tastes better, An example is Chicken, roasted and salted and pepperer by itsefl has a nice aroma also , but add some garlic, rosemary and thyme to it and you now have a feast for the mouth and the nose.
Also as you cook placing a lid on tightly cuts the evaporization of the liquids and holds in the aroma , but by partiallt covering the pot you allow the liquids to evaporate and thereby condense the flavor at the same time filling you house with the wonderful essence of the meal that is to come.
Many hotels and restraunts have fans that are actually designed to share the wonderful aroma form the foods so people get hungry and enter the establishment and become diners.
So for the reasons listed share the aroma and enjoy your food more.

Season your food with fresh herbs while cooking.
For example: Fresh basil is very aromatic. It is great in salads as well as sauces.
There are lots of great spices and herbs to kick up the smell.
