Does it help to warm up the cream when cooking creme brulee?!

Question:

Does it help to warm up the cream when cooking creme brulee?

Answers:
It is okay to do so as long as you don't get it boiling hot....if you do the eggs will curdle when mixed with the hot cream.

It shouldn't make any difference. Creme Brulee is essentially custard with caramelized sugar on top. Just follow the recipe and I'm sure it will turn out wonderfully :)

not too much. cream taste different when cooked - that's why some people use it for pasta sauce or gravy. keep it on consistent temp, and let the heat from the blow torch be the only heat that you creme brulee ever experiences.

I never have and it's turned out wonderfully well.
