What processes does it goes through

Answers:
you can smell it. and the machine is making a racket. really though, a bread machine is more than just an oven so if you threw some ingredients in the machine and pressed "ON" or "Start" or some other menu item and it's plugged in, you should see the timer clock start (countdown to baking time) and you should see some mixing, kneading, resting, baking and hear some sounds and feel some vibrations. and smell something.

it smells like bread in your house and the machine is hot! that's how you know it's baking.

It will mix then knead the dough. It will then rise and re-knead. THEN it will bake, you will feel the top getting noticeably warmer when it is in baking cycle.

its hot and the bread rises

Get ingredients from makers site on internet, mix, put in, turn on, if you have bread in 3 hours, it works, If not, it doesn't.
