What can i make with strawberry yogurt?
i bought a tub of strawberry yogurt and i got bored of just having yogurt for dessert or breakfast, is there something simple i can add to make it more enjoyable, but still healthy(somewhat healthy)
Answers:
why don't you make a pretty parfait layering fruit with yoghurt and good muesli or cake crumbs and fruit syrup. it looks great and gives you a little more variety.
try freezing your yoghurt for an icy tang dessert.
add fresh or frozen fruit and make a smoothie!
You can add some uncooked oatmeal or some granola to it....even some crumbled graham cracker crumbs would be good....almost like a little cheesecake. Mix in a little bit of cream cheese and a tsp of sugar for more of a cheesecake texture.
A smoothie is the best thing i can think of. Add some fruit, crushed ice and your set.
the best thing you could do is have a STUFFED FRENCH TOAST all you do is take some really fresh and healthy whole grain bread sandwhich it with yogurt in the middle and soak it as you would doing regular french toast....eggs + cinnamon + milk + vanilla extract etc. it's AMAZING!
also, you could try freezing the yogurt in ice cube trays that way you have a nice little snack you can suck on (great for kids coming home from school)
wow guess i came in second with the deep freeze idea :(
next time you should buy plain yogurt ^.^ that way you could marinate chicken, make a facemask, and flavor it with fresh fruits + berries :) (lots more options and all you need is a little bit of honey)
Smoothie, Fruit Salad
You can make a cake and then you can put it on a cake or you could just add candy in you yogurt.
quick strawberry cream pie. all you need is premade graham cracker crusts or make your own, low fat cool whip, and your yogurt. mix the yogurt and the cool whip together well blended and just pour into the crust and chill for 15 or 20 minutes. easy as pie, i guess you could say.
mix it with a little cool whip... and throw it together with a bunch of cut-up fruit, oranges or apples might not work to good.... I like to use peaches, nectarines, grapes, watermelon, strawberries, bananas
