I have a kohl rabi question........?!

Question:

I have a kohl rabi question........?

I had some kohl rabi at a friend's house and it was wonderful. So when I was getting seedlings for my garden and spotted them I decided to grow them......Now I have these beautiful plants begging to be eaten....I have found recipes for the stem, but what about the leaves? are they good to eat? and any ideas how to prepare them?
Thank you in advance.
Peace.

Answers:
I would fry a little bacon, remove from pan. Add greens. Stir on high heat a minute or two. Romove from heat, add a little vinegar and bacon. Toss.
OR,
cook the bacon. Tear raw greens into bowl. Toss with a little vinegar and bacon. Pour on HOT bacon fat. Cover bowl for a minute. It will kind of steam.
We do this with all greens. Sometimes we add sliced boiled eggs, or thin onion slices. (Called "wilted salad")

Sounds yucky.

They're edible. Google up "kohlrabi leaves".

It's a cross between a turnip and cabbage
Although it's recognized as a bulbous stem
cook it like cabbage cut it up and stew it in some butter or braise it

They are good raw in green salad mixtures and Cole slaw.
