Recipe calling for different onions?!

Question:

Recipe calling for different onions?

Does anybody know what the difference is between green onion and spring onion? The recipe calls for both.

Answers:
Isnt green onion another name for white onion? ie, regular onions, and the spring onion is the scallion long thin one.

Either way, you can NEVER have too much onion. I add them to everything they're my favourite vegetable.

I do believe they are one and the same.aka scallions.

Green onions- tops of the white onion. So my advice would be chop the whole onion and add. Just remember to peel off the bad part and slice the roots off. I also believe theres no such thing as too much onion.

Good luck to you!
