How can I find local cooking classes?!

Question:

How can I find local cooking classes?

Where would I start? I'm looking for inexpensive workshops

Answers:
Lots of gourmet kitchen stores offer cooking classes. They vary from Hands On, Demonstration, and Dinner and a Movie type classes. Google cooking classes for your city, you will be surprised. Our local community college also puts together classes with local restaurants.

I have taken a knife skills class and a pasta making class, both at different places, and the classes were awesome.

yellow pages.

usually you can call up the college close to you which probably offers night courses as well as day courses...ask about the cooking classes* why style of food are you wanting to cook? Italian, Chinese, baking?....or you can call up your local community centre if you have one in your area and ask if there are any workshops for cooking classes*
Or you can watch the cooking shows on the telly..or go to the library and can get books as well as dvd's to show you step by step how to make things*
Even on the computer you can type in cooking steps/classes and most have videos with it u can watch for free showing how to make certain dishes*

check your grocery stores a lot of times they offer them!

Look maybe at a community college.

Try an add in the personals section of your local paper
Start with a P.O.Box to ward off pervs and freaks.
