Mostly cream cheese plus say1/4 - 1/3 of its weight in butter, creamed like mad with a whisk.

Icing (powdered) sugar to taste whisked intothe above

Flavouring - which ever you like, perhaps brandy or lemon juice/grated rind, even vanilla, but I find that a bit too bland. Whisk this in last

ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), at room temperature
1 pound confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
In a bowl, blend together the cream cheese and butter. Gradually add the confectioners' sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla.

you can add things to the recipe like pecans or some sort of extract...experiment with different flavors

I'd try looking on Foodnetwork.com Or kraftfood.com. I use them alot.
