23 minutes before grocery shopping.. dinner ideas?
Im sitting here watching time slowly go by at work.. yet i still in my eight hour shift havent thought of what to make for dinner tonight. Its just gonna be me.. so. anyone good any cheapish, simple dinners for a single gal? No red meat please - ive had enough this week!

veggie chilli! its yummy!
i use canned beans (red and pinto), canned chickpeas, tomatoes, tomato paste, chilli powder, cumin powder and mix it with this stuff from boca burger (looks like ground meat). you can find it in the frozen aisle. they have the recipe on the bocaburger website.
its the best chilli ever and so easy/quick to make. great as a leftover for lunch.
a chicken stir fry? chicken,cauliflour,sugar snap peas, broccoli,carrots and chiken stock?
Spicy lentils and rice: rinse canned lentils, mix with a little curry paste, a few Tb of any tomato sauce, a little chicken broth and minced garlic (can get this in a little bottle) -simmer. Mixed with cooked basmati rice, I can eat this for dinner for several nights. Cheap, easy, and healthy!
Soy burgers, whole wheat buns, naked chips and a salad.
Cooked chicken strips (no breading), salad greens, caesar dressing. Maybe a wholegrain roll too.
Some nights I love minestrone (can be canned) and a wholegrain roll. Maybe a little salad too.
I like things that are healthy and really really easy - do not like spending ages cooking! Hope this helps.

montecristo sandwiches they are delish and only take 15 minutes to make
Ingredients:
whole wheat bread
dijon mustard
ham
eggs
milk
mozzerella cheese
beat like 2 eggs and mix in milk
spread mustard on 1 side of 2 pcs. of bread
put cheese and ham and whatever else you like on sandwiches in b/n the two pcs of bread and coat the mustard sides(which should be facing outwards not inward with the sandwich meat and cheese) with the egg liquid and place it on a hot skillet to brown on each side
