Birthday Cake recipe please....for my dog?!

Question:

Birthday Cake recipe please....for my dog?

Its my dogs birthday in 5 days time and I want to repay its loyalty to me by making it a dog birthday cake. The thing is though, the dog has a very sensitive digestive system. It is intollerant to normal proprietry dog-food, and has a wheat and dairy product allergy, and cannot eat pastry. The only vegetable it will eat is artichoke. It can only really eat chicken and seafood, and particularly likes lobster and any type of fish. Can anyone supply a recipe for a 'cake' using these ingredients as a base. Thanks

Answers:
start with a base of fresh weasel milk and then add a bit of gator meat--I suggest a nice steak from the tail then you can grind that up and add all the fresh fish and lobster then pound it into a cake pan and let it set up like jello smell will be awful but that lil pup will chow down or wan to roll in it

toss the dog a bone instead

wrong

actually i don`t know a recipe, for it, but i suggest you to prepare for him some Simple Baked Salmon

2 salmon filets (approx. 1/2 lb each)
olive oil
tartar sauce
A quick and easy dish that requires very little effort. It works best with fresh salmon purchased the same day you plan to eat it.

Put salmon filets in a glass baking dish. Drizzle a little olive oil over the filets and flip them over a couple of times to spread the oil and get a little oil on the bottom of the baking dish and the under side of the filets.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-30 minutes depending on the thickness of the filets. You want them to be cooked until they start to flake and become opaque inside, but don't dry them out.

Serve with tartar sauce and carrot salad.

Fish cake!

Can he eat eggs and cheese?

If so, I'd make him an artichoke quiche with lobster.

Artichoke Quiche with Lobster

1 pie shell (gluten free!)
1 small can artichokes chopped
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
1 pound lobster meat, chopped
5 eggs
2 cups light cream
1/4 teaspoon salt

Line unpricked pastry shell with two layers of heavy duty foil. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Remove foil and set aside.

In a small pan, sauté onion in butter until tender. Sprinkle Swiss cheese in crust, then top with lobster meat and onion. In a bowl, beat eggs, then mix in cream and salt , then pour over lobster mixture.

Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

If you can't find a gluten free crust, just eliminate it. The best thing about this recipe, is that you can "share" it with him.

Don't be so silly. The dog doesn't know it's his birthday, so the cake isn't for him, it's for you.

Just feed him normally and continue to make a fuss of him.

I have made several meat birthday cakes for dogs, but the one that goes down
the best is made from salmon.

I use a salmon mouse recipe and omit the unsuitable ingredients.

Basically, take a large tin of the cheapest salmon you can find, tip it into a blender, juice and all (remove dark skin and bones if you want, but it is not really necessary). Soften some gelatin powder with cold water then add a bit of boiling water to dissolve and tip that into the blender with a crumbled stock
cube and the salmon. You may add mayo and cream if you want to, but allow a little more gelatin if you do.

Blend the whole lot until smooth then tip into a greased cake tip lined with baking paper and refrigerate til set. Tip onto a plate and cover with cold mashed potato "frosting". Add some cheese to the "frosting" if you like. You can even pipe a name and greeting on using mashed potato coloured with food colouring or just use mashed red sweet potato.Sausage or raw hide "candles" complete the picture.

The "cake" slices quite well, so it can be served in individual bowls to the
party "guests"

i took this recipe from the bottem link there are others but harder to find though you might want to look so i sent them all

Awwww! Grind up some of his dogtreats/dry food with eggs. Make a nice "icing" out of it. Spread it onto one of those HUGE "milkbone" treats.
