If you dont tell people whats in this until they try it I can guarntee it will be a hit. Some people that dont even like some of the ingredients eat it like crazy.
Take 1 container of cottage cheese drain the liquid off of it(not all will come off but dont worry about it) add1 tub of coolwhip, 1 can of crushed pineapple(drain first) and 1 big box of strawberry jello. Stir it all together and it will make a big Fluffy Pink Cloud Salad. Even people that dont like cottage cheese like it becuse you dont really tast the cottage cheese. We made this for some friends of ours and they liked it so much that they made it with all the different flavors. This a dish that is made every holiday in my family and seldom is there leftovers.

use coconut milk instead of water or ordinary milk. to decorate passion fruit from a small tin.

Go to the jello web site they have more and better ideas than me. I like to make a couple of kinds cut them in squares and put some of each in a bowl with whip cream.

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert
This dessert has a pretzel crumb crust, a cream cheese filling, and strawberry filled jello on top.

1-1/2 cups crumbs from crushed thin pretzels.
4 -1/2 T. sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, regular or low-fat, softened to room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, such as such as Cool Whip? - thawed
1 box (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen strawberries
Preparation -
Mix the pretzel crumbs with 4-1/2 tablespoons sugar and the melted butter. Press the pretzel crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350o for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool. In a mixing bowl, using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Fold in the thawed whipped topping. Spread the mixture evenly over the baked, cooled pretzel crust. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Stir the strawberry gelatin powder and boiling water together in a bowl. Add the strawberries, and stir until the berries are thawed. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until set and completely chilled before serving.

DIRECTIONS
Drain pineapple. Drain the cherries and save their juice.
In a saucepan combine the reserved cherry juice with the coke. Heat until boiling then stir in the gelatin. Mix until gelatin is dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the drained pineapple, drained cherries and chopped pecans. Pour mixture into a mold sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Do different layers of jello flavor in a cup. For example in a clear plastic cup put one fourth cherry flavor jello in the cup wait for the cherry layer to get solid and add another layer with a different flavor and add as many layer as you want.

oomigosh! this is the cutest jello idea i have ever seen. you take blue jello and an orange slice and a few other things and it turns out looking like a little sail boat in a cup. its adorable!

Fresh lemon jello ideas?

So easy. So good

2 cups of lemonade
1 package of of Knox Gelatin

Put one cup of lemonade in a bowl and sprinkle with gelatin

Bring the other cup of lemonade to a boil and add to gelatin mixture.

Stir. Chill. Eat.

How to improve on this? What would be a good combo. I could use one cup of lemonade and one cup of ... what?

In the summer I made a combo of
- Blackberry red wine gelatin
- Orange basil gelatin
- Pineapple ginger gelatin
- Fresh strawberry white merlot

What would be a good idea for lemon jello?

The lemon tree is loaded with lemons. What is cool is I can control the sugar. They are mild lemons so usually 2 tablespoons of sugar is enough to produce a tasty, refreshing tart/sweet dessert.

Summer adventures in fresh fruit jello

Mandarin Orange Lemon Pie

Ingredients:

CRUST
1/2 box of graham crackers (about 1/2 lb or so)
1/3 to 1/2 cup melted butter

FILLING
1 envelope unflavoured jello (I used Knox)
2 tablespoons cold water
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar (** I used about 1/3 - 1/2 cup **)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 lemons worth - I used Meyer Lemons, but regular lemons are good as well)
2 cups heavy whipping cream (this is MORE than enough)
1 can (10 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained (I couldn't find 10 oz, so I used about 11 oz)

Directions:

CRUST
- Crush graham crackers - I put them into a large ziploc and then pounded it down with the back of a knife. Very stress relieving.

- Melt the butter and mix it with the crushed graham crackers. Then press it into a 9" pie plate, along the bottom and up the sides. Then keep refrigerated.

FILLING
- Mix gelatine with cold water. Stir in boiling water. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Stir in lemon juice. Refrigerate until it starts to thicken. Make sure it doesn't get too thick - you want it to really catch it as it STARTS to thicken. I think it was over an hour, maybe even close to 2 hours, but not over that amount of time.

- Whip cream until thick. Fold half of the whipped cream into the jello mixture, until blended. Fold in the mandarin oranges. Spoon into the crumb crust. Top with the remaining whipped cream. Refrigerate 3 - 4 hours.
