Trail-Mix recipe?!

Trail-Mix recipe?

I need some new ways to make trail-mix. I need sompthing diffrent. But please nothing spicy ( i cant eat spicy food). Thanks and God Bless!

Hazelnut Trail Mix

6 cups Kix cereal
1-1/2 cups coarsely chopped or whole, roasted hazelnuts
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup banana chips
1 small package non-instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter

Mix cereal, nuts, raisins and banana chips together. In saucepan,
combine vanilla pudding and honey; bring to a boil and boil 30
seconds. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter; mix well. Pour
over cereal mix and mix until coated. Put on cookie sheet to cool.

------------AND...

Trail Mix

4 c Chex cereal
1/2 c Dried fruit bits
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c Yogurt covered peanuts
1/2 c Reeces Pieces

Put into a large ziploc bag and shake to mix.

Um, you could do nuts, cranberries or ANY dried fruit, and then M&Ms, or dove chocolates, or anthing, really. Or, you could use the Chex Mix, and add chocolate or fruit. There are billions of possibilities!!!

I use several types of nuts, usually a raw unsalted, roasted salted and then a sweetened one. I add dried fruits like cranberry, cherries or apricots what ever is on sale and then mix it all up. I like to throw in some carob chips to give it a chocolate surprise but it's healthier. Enjoy!
