Under which circumstances would you cook with REALLY really sour cream?!

Question:

Under which circumstances would you cook with REALLY really sour cream?

Answers:
Ummm, if I really disliked the person I was cooking for.

Sour cream is only "sour" until a certian point. then it's just rubbish. i'd say, go buy new sour cream. ;)

under NO circumstances- if it's got green /blue mold on it throw it out. If it's just got some liquid , you can stir it and use it , but read the use by date or you are asking for some serious gastric distress. Never cook w/ dairy or meat that's iffy. Better to go hungry for the night, than spend the next two days sick from both ends..

I remember MY mom making pancakes with Lumpy sour milk.
Delicious I am sure she did it with biscuits too.
No telling she also made White sauce very often.
Sour Cream I don't think we could afford it.
