Answers:
cut up raw potatoes soak up the salt, i can't remember the potato to food ratio tho! ack! sorry
Put the cut up potatoes (cut them in 1/4's not too small) while the food is cooking on low, maybe 20 mins or less, throw the taters out before you eat it otherwise you will be eating salty taters. or save them, for stew maybe?

I've always heard to put half a potato into the dish and it will absorb the salt. I've never tried it myself, as I don't pre-salt my meals whilst cooking. But I've heard it DOES work... So good luck :o)

You need a raw potato. Peel it, cut it in half and drop both halves into whatever you were cooking. It will absorb a lot of the salt taste.

A peeled potato quartered will do the job. Remove before serving if it will spoil the dish, or leave in.

place in a potato as this will absorb all the excess salt.

add a potato to the pot and let it cook.

peel a potato and cut it in half and put in the pot while it's still cooking. It should absorb a great deal of the salt. Remove it before serving. You won't want to eat it. Too salty tasting.

You peel a raw potato and put it in the soup and it absorbs some of the salt.

Throw a raw potato in the pot to absorb the salt
