Very best marinade recipe?!

Question:

Very best marinade recipe?

I have many recipes I came up with and can't decide on the best one so far. However, I'm getting tired of the same ol stuff, I was wondering who else got anything good. My marinades are usually based with olive oil and lemon juice. So far I've found that those 2 are the best for tenderizing and making the meat more juicy.

So far these are good answers, for first timers though. I want something that can compete with my recipes. Something that you can take to a cook off and win first. As for the websites with recipes on em, those are good as well, but nothing that would really catch my attention.

I use this one at the hotel I work at for our pork chops;
apple juice, steak seasoning, chili powder, cumin, dijon mustard, honey, garlic, worsteshire sauce, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and bock beer

Steak Marinade

INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup sherry
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic, minced

DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix sherry, soy sauce, vegetable oil, honey, ginger, and garlic. Marinate steaks for at least 4 hours before grilling as desired.

have you tried recipes .com ? or cooks.com ? good luck and I hope I helped.

brown sugar & soy sauce & garlic

try using lime, orange, or pineapple juice and olive oil, garlic, black pepper, and salt.
you can also use italian dressing. try soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, or try adding a few herbs and spices to the marinade, like ginger, nutmeg, or thyme. get creative! take a trip down the spice aisle.

Try adding a very small amount of liquid smoke to your recipes. A very small amount. That stuff is very powerful.
