i need to know some way of making him eat veggies

Answers:
*U can 'disguise' the veggie in the form of snacks which the teenagers love e.g. samosas, parathas or veg bonda.
If u r an indian, u will know the method to prep the abv. ; o/wise u can e/mail me or go to google and get the recipe for stuffed parathas, bonda and samosas.
Hope this helps !!!!!

Quit serving other foods until he eats the vegetables.

Tell him that boxers and kickboxers eat their vegetables.

Hide them! Puree veggies and put them in sphagetti sauce or meatballs. There is a book out now with recipes and suggestions for hiding healthy foods in stuff kids will eat.

theres certain drinks you can buy that give him all the vegtables he needs into one drink. or you can tell him he will get a special treat if he eats them. hope it works!

I have the same problem with my 10 year old....I'm looking at a cookbook about hiding veggies in foods they will eat like spinach brownies...and adding pureed cauliflower in mashed potatoes or pureed carrots in chocolate frosting.....I don't remember the name of the book but I'm sure if you look it up on amazon, it shouldn't be too hard to find...good luck!

hide the vegetables in the food.
You can hide them in lasagna, meatloaf, hamburgers.

Don't worry about it too much unless Doctor is worried. Fruits will give you the same nutrients. (if he will eat them)

puree them add to his favorite food, when use them alone add a little sugar

Dont' give him his other food until he eats his veggies.

Zeltar01 has got a point.

Also, use applesauce instead of butter, margarine, etc., in baked goods, and use fruit purees as a sub(I've got all the subs, email me if you need them).

Also, serve veggie rich dishes. Lots of tomato sauce in pasta (add some spinach and carrots, etc).

Also, if he is young tell him that his favorite Super Hero eats his veggies!

Mix the veggies in with food and sauces he likes. You may have to chop it up into small pieces.

tell him that vegetables prevent acne

tried creamed veggies they look diff but have the same impact on a growing boys life with all the nutrients.

Have you tried getting him to eat raw veggies like carrots and beans? My 12 year old daughter prefers to eat some of her vegetables raw.He may like them raw.Raw is just as good.

I had the same problem with my son, beef stew was the answer for us.Celery & pnut butter works sometimes, fried rice works sometimes, too.

I hide veggies in everything. I shred zucchini in meatloaf and spaghetti sauce and chili. When you shred them, they almost dissolve but they still get the nutrients. Also carrotts. I make the kids blt wraps, but instead of lettuce I use raw spinach. They have no idea. You have to be creative and sneaky!

give him a choice take a vitamin or eat your gd veggies

You would need to do a lot of intricate cooking for this, but try it anyway.

I always replace half a cup of flour in my cakes with half a cup of almond meal. That's a start. I also put in a whole cup of left-over cooked mashed up vegetables of any type. In a cake? Yup - it actually makes the cake moist.

Put grated zucchini into your hamburger mix. You will need to add some breadcrumbs as well if you do this. Or use grated carrot.

Make baked macaroni (pasta) dishes and replace half a can of tomatoes with half a can of mashed beans.

Make salmon patties using extra grated onion, grated coconut and grated zucchini. Very nice.

In your meat pies, replace some of the gravy with cooked mashed broccoli or cauliflower.

When making meatballs, add more breadcrumbs and any kind of grated raw vegetables, and add chopped coriander. Lots.

When you do all the above, you will get ideas for more.

Good luck

Yes, Jennifer S, you are sneaky because you cheat on your husband!

give him a Flintstone's vitamin and leave him alone. My mother used to take me to the doctor coz I wouldn't eat the way she wanted me to. The doc told her to leave me alone, and I would eat when I was hungry. I have never had any health problems. I realize veggies are good for kids, so maybe just make him eat one spoonful, then leave him be. He will grow to like veggies...

You can't force him...give him fruit and lots of vitamins...

send him to some place where the food is terrrible then automatically he will eat all the food you give him

make a shake using veggies

Salad dressing always worked on me. You could also try cheese sauces, or fresh veggies and dip.

Try a sauce on the veggies. Broccoli is much better with some melted Velveeta cheese

There are buddhist specialty restaurants in Chinatown that prepare a lot of vegetable cuisines.

They even have a nice way of making meat like substance out of tofu. My sister's favorite if grilled pork barbeque but it is actually tofu an not pork meat.

Try it out.

depends on the veggies...
tomatoes are already on pizza - add mushrooms
try sloppy joes with onions
eggplant parmesan

Well, make the rule that he gets one serving of whatever he likes but that's it until he eats his veggies-no second helping or dessert. You are the parent after all. It may help to remind him that veggies contribute to good skin, muscle development and even libido.

Please tell him that eating non vegetarian food is harmful for good health in the long run.
My doctor nephew tells me that eating non-veg.food is beset with danger in the sense that if it is not digested properly, the likelihood of it turning poisonous for the health is quite high.
Besides there is no guilt feeling in eating vegetarian food, as there is no killing of living beings involved there.
Recently my 6 year old grand son asked me as to what will people do if all the animals of the world started attacking and swallowing human beings in retaliation.
I was baffled and remained speechless.
You may also peruse the book stalls for newer books of recipes in vegetarian dishes.
Make the dishes you prepare more colourful and attractive to start with.
If he is still not satisfied, try a few Chinese or Indian recipes.
I have observed that several Indian recipes are very popular in Europe, USA and Australasia presently.
Patience and Persistance will certainly solve your problem.
My Best Wishes for an early solution to your efforts.

Tell him that if he eats his vegetables he can bring a chick home to ****.....every 14 old is extremely horny...or if he is a loser/loner you can just sign him up for some porn site and he can do it himself....that should get it done................
