Question:

How do you make B-BQ Chicken Leggs on gas Grills?

Cooking Chicken leggs on gas grill ,I want them basted in Barbeque Sauce.

Answers:
u gotta marinate them legs overnite...SLOW COOK them on the grill with good charcoal or smoke wood...forget the gas-grill crap...
put the sauce on the legs 10 minutes before its time to eat...if you don't, you will have carmelized, burnt, uncooked legs...and probably a case of the "screamers" in the morning

Bake them first (plain-just a little s&p) then finish them on your grill on a low setting (basted). The sauce contains a lot of sugar that will burn if you baste them and then try to cook them. Low heat ,baste often ,cook 15 mins.

Same way....the gas grill has nothing to do with the flavor! Enjoy

I blanch mine in boiling water until they are 90% cooked. Finish on the bbq, putting the sauce on at the last couple of mins. so it doesn't burn. I reduce the chicken water and use it for stock for soups or gravies. You may want to add spice to the water when blanching the chicken. I use garlic, onion, thyme, and seasoning salt.

We cook them all the time.Put one burner on under your grill.Brown them without the sauce and then move them to the opposite side of the grill.Add the sauce and the heat will finish cooking them and it will slowly baste your meat.Want them crunchy withe the sauce, more back over fire for the last 10 mins of cooking...In-direct heat allows it to baste.

youll want to soak your chiken over nite
then yull start your bbq and put yur chiken on the grill turning every 3 to 6 mins yu need to keep an eye on chiken let me know how that turns out
