Why can't you use peanut m&ms when baking?!

Question:

Why can't you use peanut m&ms when baking?

We wanted to make peanut m&m cookies because we didn't have regular m&ms, you can use regular m&ms in cookies, but why not peanut m&ms??

Answers:
I use them all the time - they are awesome on peanut butter cookies. My best selling cookie is just that, as a matter of fact! No need to reduce anything.

Too much oil.

You can use them, but reduce the butter and smash the candy (so the oil will spread out).

I have no clue how you heard of this. They're AWESOME in cookies! I've made them several times lately. In fact we like them better than regular M&M cookies. They'll work just fine! Just bake them halfway, then add the M&Ms and finish baking them. In fact, I just had one this morning. So good!
