What's a good thing to add to hamburger patties when grilling them?!

What's a good thing to add to hamburger patties when grilling them?

I want something a little different than a regular burger, but not so different that the kids won't like them. Any one have any recipe that they've tried?

with the hamburger, try a little worcestershire sauce, minced onion , salt and pepper all mixed up, form patties then grill. my family enjoys it.

Pizza burgers

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
salt and pepper, to taste
prepared pizza sauce heated
4 english muffins, split and toasted


Directions:

Preheat grill. Mix together the ground beef, cheese, onion, oregano, basil, salt and pepper and form into four patties. Grill 8 minutes, turning once, or until done as desired. Place one patty on each english muffin bottom. Top with pizza sauce. Serve with tops of muffins.

This recipe for Pizza Burgers serves/makes 4

Mix in soy sauce. Only add a little though, it is kind of strong if you use a lot. Maybe try mixing in a marinate. Or, maybe a little taco seasoning.

or in the middle of the meat add cheese: bleu cheese, mozzerella or gouda.

Try making the pattie around a piece of cheese or adding a pinch of garam masala to the mix or both ! *pats tummy*

woostercier <- dont 'know how to spell it. sauce and lowry's throw in some of your favorite shredded cheese and mix before cooking, and/or put a slice on top and you've got a bomb a** burger.

Another, which i haven't tried yet but another friend of mine was talking about.
a package of hidden valley ranch--dry and cheese.
Doesn't sound that good to me though.

Add spicy mustard and ketchup and sweet relish into the meat before grilling. kicks up the burger. try this and i am sure everyone will be pleased.

CHEDDAR CHEESE BURGERS
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. French's mustard
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Salt & pepper
6 hamburger rolls, split
Lettuce & sliced tomato
Combine cheese, butter and mustard. Shape beef into 6 patties. Grill over hot coals or broil. Season with salt and pepper. To serve - place hamburgers on rolls, spread generously with cheese mixture. Top with lettuce and tomato. Serve.

CHEESEBURGER SURPRISE

2 lbs. ground beef
6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
6 oz. Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
4 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten

Take ground beef, mold into round balls. Mix Mozzarella, Cheddar cheese, pepper, and salt into the beaten eggs. Once ingredients are mixed together, place them inside beef balls. Once inside hamburger, sprinkle hamburger balls with bread crumbs. Recipe makes 6 cheeseburger patties.

Lipton onion soup mix Dry, soup mix, oh soo good, and worchesire sauce

Put a little itty bit of good tasting hot suace (no tabasco!) on the burger prior to grilling

FROZEN SPINACH, ONIONS, BELL PEPPERS, WORCESHIRE SAUCE AND RITZ CRACKERS THE GARDEN VEGGIE ONES GIVE THE BURGERS THE MOST FLAVOR

I some times add about 1/4 cup. of Worcestershire sauce to you're ground beef with Lipton onion & mushroom soup mix. (dry); That is to a pound of hamburger.
