Barbeque sauce out of ketchup, worchestshire, hot sauce maybe sugar? help?
Answers:
ketchup, some horseradish, dash of tobasco and a little bit of beer to thin out some is whati use.
Brown Sugar
also besides the brown sugar for a little bite add some vinagar as well.
leave out the sugar and add orange marmalade. makes it sweet, and crispy too.

What you wrote, plus instant coffee granules.
Sounds weird, but it's great, trust me!
And use brown sugar, not white.
We use that sauce all the time for ribs. Sooooo good!
I like Paula Deen's BBQ sauce for chicken. She melted a stick of butter, added 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce, and then the juice of two lemons. Add a little bit of salt and pepper, and brush on in the last 10 minutes of grilling so it doesn't make you grill flare up.
What kind of sauce I use all depends on what I'm making. I prefer a much sweeter sauce for ribs and the like. Careful putting brown sugar in it if it's gonna see an open flame. Brown sugar is just white sugar mixed with molasses, and it burns pretty easy.
I've got a bunch of them. Pick what you want.

Mop for all Barbecue Meats
4 quarts bone stock (beef stock)
2 pints Worcestershire Sauce
1 pint vinegar
1 pint oil
3 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons dry mustard
3 tablespoons MSG
3 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground bay leaf
Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let stand overnight.
This recipe is exactly the way I wrote it down. I modified the instructions a little because he calls for you to make the "bone stock" yourself and most people ask we what exactly is "bone stock". If you are a stickler for authenticity then get a couple of "good stout beef bones" and boil them until you have a good stock. On another note, this recipe makes a gallon of mop, you might want to cut it down a little.
