Question:

What tastes better .. food cooked with a gas grill or charcoal?

Answers:
Well, I grew up with my parents using gas only & then moved in with my sweetie who is a charcoal man. After having grilled on the charcoal grill, I'd never go back to gas!!

You really can taste the difference!!

Southern griller!!

charcoal

I think charcoal has a better BBQ taste.

charcoal

charcoal...even better is is real wood

charcoal taste better, they even sell different wood chips to change the flavor, hickory, red wood, etc,
gas is easier but charcoal with wood is best! :)

gas definetly, Charcoal is just way too risky I liked gas its quick and you can adjust temp hahaha

coal but gas easier

as a chef I would recommend charcoal

charcoal brings a more smokier flavor, because there's wood in it.

Gas grills are easier to operate and have less waste.

charcoal the wood that makes up the charcoal actually adds flavor to your food...

Charcoal, there is no doubt!

Charcoal is the way to go! It adds such a nice flavor to your food, if you feel real adventurous, use charcoal and some wood chips, they sell them where ever they sell charcoal, what an amazing flavor.
You will love the taste! Guaranteed!

From a retired chef, Caterer and, instructor...
Charcoal by all means adds better flavor for grilling if you're doing B.B.Q. then real wood.
Try grilling a pizza over charcoal. crispy crust and nice smoky flavor. After cooking a pizza this way you'll never cook another pizza in the oven. and you do it right on the grill no pizza stone needed.

charcoal but if you use wood its even better
