Question:

What is the best way to BBQ beef spare ribs on a gas grill?

Answers:
you definately need to boil or braise them for a couple hours before putting them on the grill.

first rub the meaty side of the ribs with your favorite seasonings, making sure they are well coated. then place the ribs in a deep pan with some roughly chopped onions, carrots and garlic, add a little water, no more than two inches deep. (add a few drops of liquid smoke if you've got it) cover tightly and put in a 275 degree oven for 3 hours or until tender

then lay them on your grill over a medium-low flame and baste with bbq sauce close the lid and let them cook until the sauce becomes like a glaze...

they call me the rib man

Cook them low and slow, you can also cook them "indirectly" by turning off the back burner, and using front only. Just put meat at back and rotate several times. If they are very thick and meaty, you can par-boil them for a while before grilling.

First cook them in the oven(covered with foil) until they start to get tinder. Have your sauce already mixed up. Place the ribs on a pre-heated grill and apply the sauce.

low and slow. low heat for a few hours. No sauce until about 20 mins before you are ready to take them off.

ok, so you boil em and let them simmer in 4 16oz cans of beef broth and the rest water so that they're covered, and you let them go for like 45 minutes or until they're cooked to your liking, then you slather them up in bbq sauce (sweet baby ray's is the best) and then you let them brown up on the grill.

par boil in beer, takes fat out, cook very slow, if you can get down to 275 cook 4 hrs

I always boil them first with a lil vinegar to make the meat tender then I put them on my grill on low and add bbq at the last 1/2 hour ya wanna talk melt in your mouth and in your hands hahaha
