Cooking chicken on the stovetop - what seasonings to use?!

Question:

Cooking chicken on the stovetop - what seasonings to use?

I like to throw chicken stir fry on the stovetop for a quick meal - I don't add anything to it...I just want to eat the chicken. What kind of seasonings can I add to the chicken? Right now I just add salt and pepper and it's pretty bland :-\...help!

Answers:
Marinate it in Italian salad dressing! Simple, fast and tastes great!!

(Also try the salad dressing on grilled shrimp)

I usally cook chicken in the oven but the type of Seasonings you can use is Paparika, salt, pepper, and this kind of seasonning that kind of has this taste of lemon.

put lemon slices in the pan with it and some chicken seasoning.......or use terriakyi sauce in the pan...............or marinate it in sweet and sour sauce in a zip lock bag and just wait for like ten minutes for the taste to settle in..........if you really like chicken i have a homeade chicken terriakyi recipe that is to DIE for.................

Salt and pepper is what I use, unless I want breaded chicken, that adds flour, bread crumbs and egg. ~

there is a seasoning that is called "everglades seasoning" and it is does not over power the taste of the food and i use it from every thing from eggs to meats and casseroles so you may want to give it a try.good luck and i am sure you will enjoy !!!!

For stir fry try adding sage & garlic. Or for the teriyaki taste- try ginger & garlic- Enjoy!

I like Chef Paul's Cajun Magic spices. I make the chicken with that and then throw it in whatever else I'm making. I think that the stir fry would be a great contrast for it.

Ummm...
you could probably add
salt,pepper
and go to the grocery store
and get some of that think Chinese
stuff to put on it
it tastes so good
if you feel like it,
you can add a little bit of
5minute rice, and vegetables(frozen?)
hope it helped :) <3

Rosemary and/or thyme go great with chicken.. I've used sage as well, along with salt pepper and some lemon..

I add alittle soy sauce and garlic and Lawyer's Teriyaki sauce and alittle salt and little bit onion power or onion flakes..whatever i have on hand..Its really good and my son is very picky eater and he loves it..I cook some white rice on the side..and Throw some frozen veggies in another skillet with some oil and then let it get almost done and add Teriyaki on them to..Put rice on the plate and the veggies and chicken over it..Makes one Great Meal..Easy to..

I like to add a little Greek Seasoning or if I am out of that I will add garlic, salt, pepper, and a little oregano (lightly though a little goes a long way).

garlic, onion, hot peppers,lemon,celantro,ginger,... sauce, parsley, sage ,rosemary ,tyme, poultry seasoning, emeril seasoning what ever tastes good to you
