Answers:
No. Just use 80/20 ground beef. season w/salt & pepper. It will hold fine and you will have hamburgers (Not meat loaf patties)

try this recipe it should work for what you want.

Ranch Burgers

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers
1 onion, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the grill for high heat.
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, egg, crushed crackers, and onion. Form into hamburger patties.
Lightly oil the grill grate. Place patties on the grill, and cook 5 minutes per side, or until well done.

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds extra-lean ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup rolled oats
DIRECTIONS
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium high heat and lightly oil grate.
In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion soup mix, egg, hot sauce and oats. Shape into 6 patties.
Grill patties over medium high heat for 10 to 20 minutes, or to desired doneness.

Bread crumbs and eggs work!! I cooked out yesterday and used crumbled up pretzels and eggs. The pretzels add like a kick to it and work like bread crumbs

Take ground meat, an egg and bread crumbs- you can also include spices or onion soup mix if you want to.

You don't have to add anything. Try putting it on the gill and don't flip until the the bottom is cooked and it is firm, then flip

I use eggs but, I also add a little lipton onion soup mix or canadian steak seasoning for a little added flavor. I feel the egg makes it meatloaf like and like to give it a little extra something.

Egg works, it's used to stretch, thin and moisten in lots of meals, (i.e. meatloaf).

I`d have to agree with just salt, and pepper. You can add a little steak sauce to the ground beef too.If you don`t flip it too soon it shouldn`t fall apart.

Eggs and breadcrumbs will help bind it all together.
