How do you cover a square cake with fondant?!

Question:

How do you cover a square cake with fondant?

Answers:
Well make sure you roll it out at least 3-4 inches larger then you need it. You can measure the cake with a string and use it as your guide.
You just need to make sure that after you place the fondant on the cake, you start smoothing it out from the top and all around before moving further down--does that make sense? So don't smooth it all down at once, that will cause creases etc. If you start at the top and work your way around you should be okay.
We also mix our fondant with almond paste, not sure if you plan on doing that. If you need a recipe, please e-mail me and I'll e-mail you the one we use in school.

Good Luck!
