Ramens rule! I add real bacon bits, canned shrimp or crabmeat. bits of rotiserrie chicken or roast beef, cubed cheese and sometimes sprinkle it with grated parmesan cheese. You can make egg drop soup with it. Here's a recipe for Ramen patties. It's quick because you use powered seasonings. Drain the noodles. When cool enough, add 1 beaten egg, 1tblsp. flour, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and parsley flakes (optional). mix well and fry in hot oil. I cut the cooked noodles up with kitchen scissors before I start mixing. You can also drain the cooked noodles , add meat or seafood and fresh vegetables, saute' in oil, and , Voila! Lo Mein! Don't get me started on ramen noodles...!!

hot dog slices

It's great stuff, so many things you can do with it,this is one of my favorites

THAI NOODLE SOUP

1 package (3 ounces) ramen noodles
3/4 pound chicken tenders
2 cans (about 14 ounces each) chicken broth
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/4 cup frozen snow peas
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion tops
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges

1. Break noodles into pieces. Cook noodles according to package directions (discard flavor packet). Drain and set aside.
2. Cut chicken tenders into 1/2-inch pieces. Combine chicken broth and chicken tenders in large saucepan or Dutch oven; bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 2 minutes.

3. Add carrot, snow peas, green onion tops, garlic and ginger. Reduce heat to low; simmer 3 minutes. Add cooked noodles and cilantro; heat through. Serve soup with lime wedges.

If it is chicken flavor, I add some chopped up chicken. Usually a little pepper and curry powder. Delish!

After I get done cooking my noodles, I add cheese and butter while its hot. Its very good

My wife and I make ours a little different, from the directions on the package.

We prefer ours on the dry side and we only like the chicken style. After its made we dump most of the salty broth down the drain.

We then added a little shredded chicken, thawed frozen green peas and sliced green onion on top, to dress it up.

It's a good lunch for us.

yeah i boil kettle water and just pour it on. nothing special, i just use about half the little flavor packet.

My family occasionally adds tiny bits of broccoli to it. Mmm.

I don't add anything to mine. And I microwave mine in a bowl of water for 3 minutes for that matter.

Bean sprouts, seaweed (nori) and canned corn (drained)... that's the way it's served in Japan! :)

LOL!! My dad eats it for breakfast at least twice a week. He puts in whatever leftover meat is in the fridge.

I love it with left over rare beef and brocolli. I also let it sit on the stove after cooking so the noodles suck up more of the broth.

a few small drops of sesame oil

i had a friend who threw away the flavor package and ate it with tomato sauce or catsup. i had to look away...........

For my kids I add some frozen mixed veggies (different types like plain, stir-fry, etc.). Cheese and leftover shredded chicken too. You can make the noodles like regular but instead of the little packet sprinkle some taco seasoning and add shredded beef or chicken especially if you have some leftover that has already been seasoned with the taco seasoning too.

I tend to add zucchini and a few drops of sesame oil. But I also add cabbage, or cauliflower, broccoli. Depending on what I have at the moment. Sometimes I kick it up a notch and add chopped spicey peppers. It's also good with left over strips of chicken or pork, beef etc. There are a million and one things you can add. Good on a cold day.

I think you should look at this web.

I usually add a few more vegetables to this recipes! It's a good base recipe!

INGREDIENTS

3 1/2 cups vegetable broth
1 (3.5 ounce) package ramen noodles with dried vegetables
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon chili oil
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
2 green onions, sliced

DIRECTIONS

In a medium saucepan combine broth and noodles. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat; stir to break up noodles. Reduce heat to medium and add soy sauce, chili oil and ginger. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Stir in sesame oil and garnish with green onions.

I hope this helps!
