Answers:
depends upon your level of do it yor self, I usualy make and dry my own pasta and make my own bechemel sauce so try this.

350g of mince or enough steak to mince.

tin of peeled tomatoes and a tin of chopped ones

enough dry ( not fresh ) egg pasta to make three layers in your chosen dish

italian herbs

jar of white sauce or pint of whoel milk to make a bechemel sauce,

some parmasan cheese for grating

couple of small to medium oniions

a carrot

a celery stalk

a large ( thus tasty ) flat field mushroom

red green and yelow pepper

three cloves of garlic

a beef oxo or boulion cube

finely chop the onions, celery peppers garlic and and carrot to a fine dice.

fry the onions carrots and celery first to a light colour not burning them. remove and brown off the mince

when mince is no longer pink add a good table spoon of tomato puree and another of tomato ketchup

let that cook out for a minute

add garlic continue to cook off for 30 seconds and then add the tomatos and the onions celery stock cube

add a hand full of the peppers enough to make a contribution but not over power the dish, put the rest in to olive oil in the fridge until you next need them.

add italian herbs or just oregano and cook off the tomao and beef mixture for 10 minutes check seasoning and adjust if needed

oil you baking dish, lay one layer of pasta on the base a thin layer of the meat mix, cooled unless it is to be cooked of straight away

another layer of pasta, no gaps, more meat mixture a linal layer of pasta no gaps pour on the bechamel sauce cover with grated parmasan bake in oven at 140 degrees c for about 35 minutes, if it browns too fast put an oiled sheet of foil over it to protect for a few minutes.

enjoy

I make a wicked chilli lasagne!
Make a regular chilli con carne, then put some pasta sheets ontop & a basic white sauce to finish.
Lovely on a cold winters evening!
Or actually right now - as its bloody freezing here!!!!

try the ragu recipe in Delia Smith′s winter collection,

the secret is to put chicken liver in it

I just use a simple lasagne recipe but its delicious. Ragu red lasagne sauce mixed with the cooked mince add a bit of oregano, lasagne sheets on top, add the white ragu lasagne sauce, add more mince, more lasagne sheets, more white sauce topped with loadsa cheese. Yum! Had it for tea last night.

Here are two Lasagna's from the South of Italy as made by my southern Italian girlfriend.
1. The normal lasagna i.e.
minced beef mixed with pork
basil
mozzarella
lasagna (the pasta)
cherry tomatoes chopped finely and mixed into the sugo
ham (cooked)
make the layers as you would normally do and put in the oven, grate some parmesan or grana padano cheese over the top.
lay off the onions, mushrooms, garlic and oreganum (not very italian actually)
2.
lasagna
panna di cucina (sour cream or cooking cream)
field mushrooms
parsley ( a lot)
garlic
make the layers with these and put some fresh parsley and/or
basil on top- in the oven as usual
Buon appetito

Use best mince, onions, mushrooms if you like - either buy a good tomato sauce such as Ragu or make your own with chopped tinned tomatoes, tom puree, garlic, herbs (basil, marjoram or mixed herbs are nice with tomatoes) salt and pepper either buy or make a good white sauce (flour, butter make a roux, add cold milk bring to boil stirring all the time, season. Layer meat sauce, white sauce and lasagne sheets ending in white sauce, liberally sprinkle with a tasty strong grated cheese and bake until golden serve with mixed salads, garlic bread, and a bottle or three of chilled wine!

Egg lasagne sheets, garlic, best minced steak, plum tomatoes, fresh basil, onions, mushrooms, tomato puree, salt and black pepper. Cook gently for 3-4 hours.
Milk, plain flour, unsalted butter, various cheeses grated, 6 beaten eggs.Make a large amount of white sauce then when your ragu is cooked put a layer of the meat sauce, then pasta sheet, then a good layer of white sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Continue to build up on your last layer of pasta cover with white sauce and put plenty of grated cheese on then pour on the beaten eggs. Cook gas mark 4 for 45-50 minutes and serve with plenty of garlic bread. Yummy, and I won a local competition with it 4 years ago!

Here you go:
No-boil Lasagna

1 box of lasagna - regular - the kind you would normally cook
2 cans of your favorite spaghetti sauce (28 oz. each, usually)
1/2 pound (8 ounces) ricotta cheese
1 pound fresh shredded cheese (in a bag)
1 pound meat - hamburg or sausage, if desired
pepper

Preheat oven to 350
Spray 13 X 9 glass dish or pan with non-stick spray
Brown the meat, if you're using meat. Drain.
Season ricotta with pepper, if desired.
Pour and spread just enough sauce to coat the bottom
Place one layer of uncooked noodles on top. If using 9X13 pan, you can usually fit 3 across, and break a 4th noodle to fill in the end. It doesn't matter if the edges are broken - just fill in.

Spread about 1/2 the ricotta cheese on noodles
Spread about 1/2 the meat on the cheese
Sprinkle about 1/2 the shredded cheese on that.
Spread about 1/3 of the remaining sauce on that.

Add another layer of noodles, pressing down just a bit so the sauce mostly touches it.

Repeat the ricotta, cheese, meat, and sauce layer.
Cover with another layer of noodles.

Finish top with remaining sauce. You'll have about 1/3 of the shredded cheese left.

Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 for one hour. Uncover and sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake uncovered for another 15 minutes.

Remove from oven. Let rest about 10-15 minutes.

mm buone le lasagne...hai ragione...un orgasmo di sapori....mmm

I HOPE YOU'RE COOKING FOR ME, CUZ I LOVE LASAGNE!!!!!!!
