An inch-thick (2.5 cm) slice of bread
Milk or broth
1 1/2 pounds (675 g) of ground meat (either all beef, or beef with veal or pork, as you prefer)
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup minced onion
A small clove of garlic, chopped
3 tablespoons minced parsley
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmigiano
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
A dried hot pepper, seeded and shredded (optional)
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest from an organically grown lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Steep the bread in milk or broth to cover for 5 minutes, and then squeeze the excess liquid from the bread (the crumb should be moist but not dripping). In the meantime, sauté the minced onion until golden in a tablespoon of the butter. Put the ground meat in a mixing bowl, crumble the bread over it, and add the remaining ingredients except the butter. Mix well and shape the mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches (3.75 cm) in diameter. You should obtain about a dozen meatballs.

Preheat your oven to 350 F (175 C). Heat the remaining butter in an ovenproof pot and gently brown the meatballs on all sides; while you are browning them add a jar of Prego spaghetti sauce to a simmer in a saucepan. At this point add enough marinara sauce to cover the meatballs a little more than half way, cover the pot, and bake them for a half hour. While they're cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook your spaghetti. Drain the pasta, season it with the sauce, and serve it with grated cheese for those who want it.

i like using prego for the sauce, and for the meatballs, just ball up some groundmeat, seasoned and brown in skillet, then put your cooked spagetti on a plate, add meatballs then sauce. voila!!!

Just wing it.
For meatballs, I mix ground beef with ground sausage, add some bread crumbs, some salt, pepper, garlic powder and mush it together. I heat up some olive oil and garlic in a skillet and then roll the meat into little balls and fry it up.

I am very picking about my sauce and don't use a recipe, just keep tasting. I heat tomato sauce and pasta, use an envelope of spaghetti seasoning, add a dash of white vinegar and some sugar, and seasonings such as garlic powder, basil, oregano, etc...( you can get a bottle of Italian seasoning in your spice aisle.) drain the meatballs and add them and just bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, keep tasting until it's how you like it, I like a mix between tangy and sweet. If you must use jar, add a bit of the new Ragu's Momma's Recipe (or it's called something like that). Anyway reduce heat and simmer, if it's too acidy, add some more sugar, but just a little at a time.

Get ground beef or Ground turkey...let it thaw out. Cuz most likely it will be frozen. Then cook that..Season it to your liking. Have your noodles boiling in a pot....put a lil bit of olive oil in the noodles because u dont want them sticky. If you wanna be creative get italian sausages...put them in the oven...cut them up, throw them in with the meat..and ya meal shud be down in 20-25 min. Make some italian bread with it...and a salad...MMMM yummy...Im getting hungry....thanx alot!!!

Enjoy!

Spaghetti--just follow the directions on the package-basically boil in salted water and drain..

Meatballs-mix ground meat, finely chopped onion, raw egg, dash milk bread crumbs, salt and pepper ina bowl. Roll into balls and bake on a cookie sheet in the oven until browned. Put into sauce and allow to cook with the sauce for 1/2 hour or so and serve. Very simple meal...they also make the meatballs already made which is even easier if you're not comfortable making your own.

Ground beef; bread crumbs; seasoning. Roll into ball shape. Place oil in large skillet and fry your meatballs (low to med. not too high heat or you'll burn them). Start your meatballs first. Drain on paper towels after done. You can either add to sauce or leave in another bowl. (Easier is to buy the frozen meatballs). Spaghetti: boil water (I add some olive oil to it); once boiling reduce heat and place spaghetti in (usually 7-10- minutes).Drain and add some sauce and stir. Sauce you can make or use any canned/bottled sauce.
