How do I prepare a package of beef ribs that I have in my freezer?!

Question:

How do I prepare a package of beef ribs that I have in my freezer?

Answers:
thaw them out. put them in a crockpot with some beef broth or even water and some spices, like some garlic, salt and pepper. let them cook on low for about 6 hrs. if u like to have bbq sauce put it on the ribs the last hr or so of cooking.

you can grill them or bake them!

Prime Rib Of Beef
Ingredients:
6-8 pounds boneless beef rib roast
1 tablespoon onion salt
1 tablespoon granulated garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon freshly ground pepper, preferably white
1/2 tablespoon thyme
a few cloves of garlic peeled and sliced
olive oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Multiply the weight of the meat times 5. This will give you the amount of time to leave it in the oven at 500 degrees.
Example: 5 lbs. times 5 equals 25 minutes. Ovens may vary. 5 times the weight gives me medium to medium rare. For medium rare to rare I multiply the weight of the meat by 4.8.
Wash and dry the meat and rub olive oil on the meat. Put small slices into the meat and insert garlic slivers. Mix the spices together and rub them on the meat.
Stand the roast fat side up in a roasting pan. I also place a rimmed cookie sheet under the pan to stop some of the splatter. Put the roast into the well preheated oven and close the oven. BE EXACT ON YOUR TIME! DO NOT REOPEN THE OVEN DOOR!
My 5 lb. roast will stay at 500 degrees for 25 minutes. Your roast stays in for whatever the number of minutes you figured out.
When the timer goes off, shut the oven off and reset your timer for 2 hours BUT DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR UNTIL 2 HOURS ARE UP! Your roast will be ready to serve and perfect throughout.

Saucy Southern Beef Ribs
Ingredients:
4 lb. beef ribs, cut into 3 inch pieces or 4 lb. short ribs
10 c. cold water
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 med. onion
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. chili sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions:
Place beef, water and onions in heavy stock pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender. Remove ribs and arrange in single layer in shallow rotating pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Marinate 1 hour in refrigerator, turning often. Remove ribs from marinade and place under broiler or grill. Broil until brown and crisp, basting often with marinade. Makes 4 servings.

Braise in a hot pan ( cast iron or heavy pan is best)
With garlic and olive oil. Then add a cup of red wine.
Finish in the oven at 375 for at least one hour depending on how many. The wine and oil combo helps with tenderizing and the garlic adds great flavor. Feel free to add any other favorite spices or herbs before placing in the oven.

I let them thaw in the frige for 2-3 days, then put them in the crock pot on low for about 8-10 hours, while having added 2 bottles of BBQ Sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of water.
Goes great with mashed potatoes, corn and green beans. Or make rice and use some of the sauce to put on top.

First of all you'll need to defrost them.....Then, there's two ways or more you can prepare them... One is to go and buy your family some barbecue sauce and some briquets, and barbecue them....If you have a 'Barbie' that is....The other is to put them in your crock pot, with just a tad of water at the bottom of the crock pot and slow cook them all day long! But, you will need to put them in the crock pot in the morning when you wake, you can add a couple of potatoe's on the top after you've put your barbecue sauce all over them, then fork the potatoe's and place them on top of all of the ribs.....You can either buy some already made barbecue sauce or make your own homemade sauce, and just let them steam all day! You want to talk about fork tender!! You wont even need to use any kind of knife with these ribs, and you wont even tare up your teeth trying to pull the meat off while eating them!! They'll just fall off of the bones!! Kid you not!! But you will need to slow cook them which means putting your crock pot on low, all day long...... To make your own barbecue sauce here's an ideal recipe!!!

Homemade Barbecue Sauce:
Catsup
Brown Sugar
Molassis
Honey
Worsheshire Sauce
Mustard
Garlic
Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
Just add all of the above ingredients to taste, and to your liking as much or as little as you wish, and you will be good to go!! I would only add very little mustard if I were you, however!! This recipe is such a Fabulous Homemade version of barbecue sauce, your just going to love it, trust me on this!!! Enjoy!! And Happy Eating to you & yours!!! Smile!!

thaw them out, broil them until tender then put them in the oven until the meat is falling off the bone then bbq them suckers. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it

Beef ribs tend to be kind of fatty, so I don't like them in a crockpot. I like to rub them down with a dry rub of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. I wrap the rack of ribs in foil paper, seal it tightly and generally bake them about 300 for about 3 hours, then I open up the foil paper and let them cook another hour. Finally I brush on bbq sauce and turn the oven up to broil and let them sear.

Use can do the same thing on a grill. Just keep the grill on low and the meat off the direct heat.

Thaw them out and barbecue them. Barbecued ribs are the best!!!
