Pork Blade Roast -- Unique or Fun Suggestions on Recipe?
Other than putting it into a crock-pot with potatoes, carrots, and onions?
If you've got any suggestions, or a recipe that'd be awesome, thanks!!!

I like an asian twist. Season with salt
Sear on all sides in hot pan with just enough oil to cover bottom of pan, let cool slightly...
Rub with:
1 finger freshly grated ginger
3-4 cloves freshly minced garlic
1 t. dark sesame seed oil
1 T. course sea salt
1/2 t. 5 spice powder
Slice 1 whole leek or onion and 1 large carrot, layer on LARGE piece of heavy duty aluminum foil,
Place well rubbed roast on top, seal tightly in foil, place on cookie sheet and bake at 300 for at least 2-4 hours. (depends on size of roast).
Let sit in foil 15 min, unwrap, and carve.
A quick chili-verde recipe
A can of green chilis and half a jar of LaVictoria's Jalapeno Salsa, a couple cloves of garlic, plus 1 can of broth. If you don't like food too spicy, leave out the salsa.
This will also work with your current crock pot full of potatoes, carrots and onions.
1. Marinade in teriaki sauce for 1/2 hours
2. into the crock pot add green pepper, onions, salt, ginger (sliced, about 1 tablesp for 1kg meat), garlic(chopped, not too much)
3. Add little water
4. cook for an hour or till you think the meat is done.
5. Add some sliced tomatoes and coriander/cilantro (TINY bit, only for a little zest)
6. Add some seasame seed for an oriental look....
Try it, enjoy it and then vote for best answer if you like it. ;)
