Can I make smoothies and freeze them for later?!

Question:

Can I make smoothies and freeze them for later?

Answers:
it depends. if you're making a drink that's basically fruit, ice, and fruit juice - no dairy or cream. the drink will sit and eventually seperate after it's been blended and put into the freezer. your end result would be frozen juice on top with frozen fruit guts on the bottom. if you have a cream based drink, it will freeze and seperate as well but not to the same degree. becuase both of these substances are a combination of indredients blended together with different freezing points, your ingredients will seperate. your best bet if you do freeze a smoothe is to shove it back in the blender again before reconsuming...

I wouldn't.I did that before and it was nasty.Try freezing chicken.

Sure, they won't be the same consistency as fresh, but you can enjoy them as they melt down.
