Answers:
I agree with Kungfuki, it tastes great in spaghetti sauce. Here's some suggestions i have for kielbasa.

I dont have exact measurements for this recipe.
Bake Beans
4 or 5 cans of campbells pork and beans then add ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chopped onion, karo syrup, and lil smokies or kielbasa pieces and bake them in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 350'. Talk about delicious.

Or try this, its a family favorite.
Use Vigo Red beans and rice, use as a side dish with kielbasa or
I use two packages cook according to directions and add sliced kielbasa (14oz)
to the rice mix and cook for 25 minutes.
Serves 8
If you cant find Vigo brand the Mahatma brand will work.

For a quick easy breakfast or dinner. I cook up kielbasa pieces in frying pan with water. Serve with scrambled eggs and grits.

I sometimes add cooked kielbasa pieces to macaroni and cheese.

Or add cooked kielbasa pieces to rice a roni.

There are endless possibilities. Just experiment and have fun.

I like to chop it into bite size pieces and simmer it in BB-Q sauce...

I usually cut it into chunks, fry in a skillet til done. Make some yellow rice, mix in the kielbasa and serve. simple yet delicious!

please look in recipes.com or cooks.com and find some there . I am sure they will have something . good luck .

PORTUGUESE KALE SOUP

6 tbsp. olive oil
2 lg. onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 carrots, peeled and diced
1 c. minced celery
4 qts. water
1 c. dry red wine
1 (35 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped, with juice
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper
4 lg. potatoes, peeled and diced
1 1/2 lbs. linguica
1 1/2 lbs. kielbasa
1 1/2 lbs. fresh kale, chopped OR 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped kale
Grated Romano cheese

Saute onions for 10 minutes in 4 tablespoons oil in large kettle. When tender, add remaining oil and saute garlic, carrots, and celery. Saute for 10 minutes more, stirring often. Add water, wine, tomatoes, bay leaves and salt and pepper. Simmer soup, uncovered, for 2 hours. Add the potatoes and simmer another 30 minutes.
Cut up sausages and add to soup; stir in kale (if using frozen, thaw and drain it first). Simmer 1 hour more. If soup is too thick, add more water. Serve hot, sprinkled with grated cheese. For richer, flavor, use half beef broth and half water. Makes 3 gallons.

It s commonly used in soups i hope this recipe helps =)

Cut it up in 1/2 to 1 inch slices and put it in a stir fry with sliced zucchini, onions, tomatoes, green beans, cabbage, or whatever you want.
Serve it all on cooked noodles.

Another good way is to cut it up and cook it with sauerkraut and cut up potatoes.

It is also good just cut into serving sizes and fry till browned. Then slice a piece in two lengthwise and make a sandwich out of it.

I like to grill them..................yum yum, maybe put some BBQ sauce but i usually dont, just eat w/ mustard

An easy meal I make is this:
1 package kielbasa
1sliced onion
slices potatoes that you partially cook (cool or not)
1/4 tsp garlic powder or more if you like garlic
couple tbsp olive oil

If you like you could mix everything then put in a 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes. Stir halfway. You know it's done when the potatoes and onions are done.

A great side is just a simple garden salad. If you have some asparagus add to the mix. If not, don't worry about it. Easy.

in a lightly oiled skillet, brown the kielbasa until it is browned.
add in a small amount of water and let it simmer for 5 minutes on low and with a lid on.
add in some sliced onions and chopped green and red bell peppers. season them with salt, garlic powder and pepper.
put a lid on it and let it simmer on low until the water is gone and the vegetables are tender.

I use in spaghetti just brown it and throw it in the pot with sauce. My husband love it and now its a have too at get togethers
