Spicy foods and Riesling?!

Question:

Spicy foods and Riesling?

Went to a German Riesling tasting this weekend. Does anyone have any good appetizing spicy recipes to share that I can pair with my Riesling? Thanks

Hi there! Here are some recipes I found for you. There is a link right next to the recipe name and a description underneath. Have fun!

Chicken and Riesling http://www.recipezaar.com/193883...
This is my favorite chicken recipe. The riesling complements the chicken flavor very well, and you can finish off the bottle with dinner!

4 Minute Spicy Garlic Shrimp http://www.recipezaar.com/107997...
Recipe is originally from the Food Network courtesy of Rachael Ray, but I tweaked it to fit our tastes. Very quick & easy shrimp recipe that's done on the stovetop. If your tastes desire spicy & garlic, then this recipe is just for you.

Spicy and Tender Crock Pot Pork Chops http://www.recipezaar.com/73970...
These are the most tender chops I have ever had! I usually cook some apples to go on top of the chops and use the sauce in this recipe to put over rice. I found this recipe in one of my favorite Cookbooks 'Fix It and Forget It.' Hope you enjoy!

Well I am not a wine connisseur but I believe Reisling will go best with fish or fowl! For example any grilled fish, calimari, or shrimp and zucchini with lime and your choice of spice would be delicious! Also a spicy Asian/Indian dish will probably be great but I would avoid any heavy sauces. Enjoy!

spicy fried chicken nuggets, or hot wings will be perfecto for it or make anything you want and add spices to it and hot sauce
