Nacho Toppings?!

Question:

Nacho Toppings?

I am having a nacho bar party at work tomorrow and everyone is supposed to bring a topping, I want to bring something that is unique, yet easy to transport, preferrably not needing to be kept warm. Any ideas??

Answers:
One cup olive oil
Can of ripe olives - cut up
1/2 cup spanish olives - cut up
Finely minced garlic (2-3 cloves)
One jar drained chopped avacadoes
Jar of drained capers
Can of drained diced tomatoes
Two tablespoons Italian Seasoning

You never tasted anything so hauntingly delicious in your life!

I serve this hot on angel hair, but it is good cold as a dip, too.
The combination is soooo memorable.

If you make this - take the recipe, cause they will want it.

guacamole, or green onions, black olives

When you said nacho toppings and I read the description, I thought of a 7-layer bean dip. Bring sour cream, cheese or hot sauce.

roasted corn
pickled jalapenos
BBQ or roasted avocados

Chipotle bbq pulled chicken

You can either buy a roasted chicken or make your own chicken breast.

In a pan mix 1 jar of bbq sauce, 1 chipotle in adobo, a few shakes of garlic powder, a few shakes of onion powder and 1 cup of water or chicken stock. Let this simmer for about 5 minutes, then add the chicken. Let this thicken up to the consistency of taco meat.

Or seasoned sour cream. You'd be surprised how well this goes over even though it's so plain. 1 container of sour cream, 3 tbsp. of chopped cilantro, 1/2 the juice of a fresh lime, salt and pepper.

Try a mango salsa

Mango Salsa:
2 (4-ounce) tropical fruit cups, drained (about 1 cup)
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
1 scallion, finely chopped
1/2 lime, juiced
1 small jalapeno, ribs removed, seeded and minced
Kosher salt

adjust the quanities if you want to make more. It's really good and different

refried bean chesese oliver

salsa

sour cream, hot melted cheese, salsa, hto peppers, gacolome, spanish rice, ect....

Salsa,olives,diced tomatoes,shredded cheese,store brand guacamole dip,or jalapeno slices...hope this helps...

I find that roasted red bell peppers work really well on nachos. You can roast them yourself or buy them already roasted at the grocery store. If possible, try dicing them up. You cold also bring some cilantro as well.

Good luck - I'm sure some great nachos await you!
