I need a recipe for no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies?!

Question:

I need a recipe for no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies?

The recipies that have been resolved are NOT what I am looking for. You begin by mixing all the ingredients into a pot on the stove. You drop them onto the wax paper by way of spoonfuls.

Answers:

My Mother made them for me my whole life and I make them all the time!

Hi there... I have 2 different recipes for the "No bake cookies". Maybe these will be helpful.

The 1st one is...
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
4 ounces butter (1 stick)
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats

Then just drop them by the spoonfuls onto wax paper.

The 2nd one is...

4 ounces butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 to 4 tablespoons peanut butter, optional
3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Then drop them on the wax paper.

I prefer the 1st recipe.. but that is just my preference. Hope this helps.

Have a good day.

No Bake Cookies
Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl.
3 cups quick oatmeal (uncooked) 3 TBS cocoa
1/2 c chopped nuts 1/2 c shredded coconut

In saucepan, 2 c sugar, 1/2 c milk, 1 stick butter & 1 tsp vanilla, bring to boil & cook for 1 min (no longer). Add boiled mixture to dry ingredients & drop from teaspoonfuls onto wax paper on cookie sheet & let stand in refrigerator until firm. This makes approx 48 cookies. Tastes like candy.

This is the one I believe you are looking for:

In a large pan combine:
1 stick of butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
Stir to combine, when it comes to a boil let it boil for a full minute. Remove pan from heat and add:
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
Stir to combine. then add
3 cups old fashioned oats

Drop quickly by heaping spoonfuls onto waxed paper until they are set.
