Dinner Plans?!
Dinner Plans?
Ok. I'm 17 and not the best cook, so I need some simple dinner plans, just a few will work, with easy stuff to make, like a main dish, side, fruit and vegetable. And they kinda have to go together. Any ideas?
Answers:
I bake chicken in the oven. Take some thighs and season with salt and pepper, maybe some lemon pepper. Cook in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. While that is cooking, cook your favorite vegetable on the stove. I use frozen vegetables a lot since they are always picked at the height of the season, and are sometimes better than fresh. (Depends on when and where you buy the veggies.) During the last 10 minutes of cooking, bake some low-fat dinner rolls. For dessert, wash some fresh strawberries. Take a can of sweetened condensed milk and pour into a coffee creamer cup, or small bowl with a spoon. Serve with the fresh strawberries. Enjoy!
Skinless boneless chicken breast sauteed for 10-12 min. per side. Season with salt pepper garlic powder and onion powder first, I always add pure lemon juice during cooking. Then add your fav. veggies, prefferably fresh. Serve with fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.

Rosetary chicken, those dinner rolls (store-bought) with the flour on top....
Canned vege beans
For dessert-splurge on Hagen-Daz ice cream, and throw some blue berries/bannana/strawberries on top, maybe some store-bought whip cream too!
Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad and garlic bread. For dessert, brownies and watermelon.
Here are a few easy dinner plans~
Main Dish~Skinless Boneless Chicken, marinated in a garlic herb sauce or marinate sauce of your choice.
Side Dish~Mashed Potatoes, cooked in the microwave instead of boiling on stove(you can even leave the skins on if you wish).
Side Dish~Frozen Vegetable Mix or Frozen Corn on the cob, boiled on stove with butter.
Dessert~Store Bought Sliced Angel Food Cake, with a layer of cheesecake filling and strawberries to top.
It really depends on who you are making it for, whether its for family or for a sweetheart. If you like my ideas, let me know and I can give you further instructions. I'm not quite 17, but my mom has been teaching me to cook for 4 years and I have a lot of easy dinners as well as breakfast and lunch ideas that are easy.
