Grilling pork ribs..help?!

Question:

Grilling pork ribs..help?

I'm going to grill some pork ribs (not baby back).. how long should I boil them, how long should I marinade? All suggestions welcome.

Answers:
Don't Boil those pork ribs! Just coat them with a nice rib rub like Durkee brand Chicken and Rib Rub, then throw them on a medium grill (350 degrees) for 15 minutes on each side. Then take them off and slather them with your favorite bbq sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray's) and wrap them up tight in foil and pop them in the oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Open up the foil and baste them one more time to brown the ribs off. MMMMMmmmmMMMM

Long time rib cooker.

I would boil them for about half an hour then put them on low heat grill, for about 45 min and add BBQ Sauce about 5 min before you take them off. Enjoy.

Well, this is a great question. I live in Georgia but I am from Michigan. So when I moved here I wanted to know how to make ribs like southern people did it.....who wouldn't want to do that right?????? So, I find this little old man in this place called Harry's farmers market, rather he saw me in my Yankee voice buying a ton of ribs....it was funny. So he comes over and asks me what I am going to do with them....I tell him and he visibly shook with laughter. So, he told me his secret, and darlin, seriously, try it. You will want tto find this man and thank him.

Ribs
1 40 ounce of malt liquor (any kind)
salt and pepper
1 bottle any type BBQ sauce you like (I ONLY use OPEN PIT)
1 stick melted butter

Wash your ribs and salt and pepper them. Place in a large roasting pan. Pour beer over and cover with water to about an inch over the ribs, cover tightly. Preheat oven to 350, put ribs in and cook for 1/2 hour, turn oven to 200 and leave it alone for 4 hours. Do not look at it, do not think about it, just stay the heck away!

At the 4 hour mark, melt the butter, mix the sauce in and heat for maybe 15 minutes on very low heat to incorporate.

Heat that grill, get it hot. And add the ribs VERY CAREFULLY as they will be falling off the bone. Baste them with a mop (type of kitchen basting tool), both sides until you get a good crunchy BBQ finish. This last process goes fast, so be prepared to BBQ to a perfect finish.

I swear you will be so glad you did this!!!!!

I boil my pork ribs for 20 minutes.Once my ribs are boiled, I throw them right on the grill. While my ribs are grilling, I season them.I use various grilling seasonings, barbreque sauce, and beer. They are real good! Cheers

I don't boil mine at all.
I marinade them and let them sit covered
in the frig for a few hours.
